Meet The Designer-Made By Marney

What an exciting way to start 2019. Quiltmaker magazine is featuring a new designer each month. The article is called “Meet The Designers”. I was thrilled when asked to be their first featured artist. This issue, the January/February 2019, just came out.

Here is the “Meet The Designers” article.

I also have a quilt pattern featured in this issue.

PUPPY LUV is a sweet Valentine’s quilt for doggie lovers. This 41″x 41″ quilt would also make a cute wall hanging.

The paper pieced puppies are 7 1/2″x 7 1/2″ finished blocks. They would make an adorable pillow, too!

What a great way to start the new year.

  1. So happy for you. You deserve recognition for your artistry and imagination. I love all your patterns and have used them exclusively since I met you in Oxford Wi.♥️

  2. What a great spread! I may have to run right out and buy that magazine because I am crazy about dogs. And yours is a cutie pie. (Um, do you have a real life dog too?) Not that the holidays are over I’m backing to working on the snowman and polar bear blocks. Fun times.

    1. Hi Bonnie, I had a beautiful Golden Retriever for 13 years. He passed away.I often think of getting another pet, but I travel too much right now.

  3. Hi Mary,
Congratulations on being in the Quiltmaker issue for 2019. Can’t wait to get my hands on an issue to purchase, read your article and start that cut doggie quilt!!
Of course, I’m going to change the doggie to a Siberian Husky pattern of yours. If I get it done within this year, I’ll email you a picture of it.
    LOVE all your designs.

    1. Aaaaw, Connie, that melts my heart. So many of my friends LOVE cat and dog patterns because of the love they have for their sweet pets.
