Even MORE Halloween Fun!

I’ve had so much fun all month designing Halloween Gnomes. I know how much you love paper pieced gnomes, and so do I! After finishing 12 new Halloween blocks, I have put them into my latest quilt pattern.

BOO CREW GNOME QUILT

I’m loving all of these Gnomes, but here are some of my favorites…

The SO FRANKEN CUTE GNOME has a tiny little spider made from a button with French Knot eyes. Adorps!

The WITCH’S BREW GNOME is mixing her favorite concoction in her cauldron….TOO FUN!

Here is BOO 2 GNOME. He’s one of my faves!

JACK O’LANTERN GNOME couldn’t be any cuter. I love the white tooth!

BLACK CAT GNOME was the most fun to piece! But I honestly love them all. All 12 Halloween blocks are also available sold separately for your smaller holiday projects.

I would like to thank all of my friends and customers who participated in this year’s Row-Along. The winner of my FREE GNOME WITH BIG CATCH block pattern is Sue Holman. Congrats!

More Halloween Fun…Gotta Love It!

Your response to my latest Halloween paper pieced blocks was so overwhelming that guess what? I designed more! Let’s get as much Halloween as possible!

The WITCH GNOME WITH SPIDER is cute, cute, cute! Maybe use this witch gnome with my other WITCH BLOCKS to make a table runner or quilt?

This little gnome is holding the biggest candy corn ever! CANDY CORN GNOME is stinkin’ cute!

FROG MAGIC

FROG MAGIC is a witchy little frog. I’m planning a super cool pillow with this little guy! Aren’t frogs just the best?

Look at this adorable Spider Pillow created by Connie, using my SPOOKY SPIDER BLOCK.

SPOOKY SPIDER

You can purchase just my SPIDER BLOCK HERE, or If you want to make a Spider Pillow just like Connie’s, you can order Connie’s kit by going to OCTOBER 31 PILLOW KIT. The kit will include the Spider pattern.

That’s all for now…but we still have lots of time before Halloween 2021, so stay tuned for even more Halloween fun!

HALLOWEEN GNOME BLOCKS

My favorite holiday is approaching! I’m excited to use these brand new Halloween paper pieced block patterns in some projects. Which is your favorite?

BOO GNOME

Wouldn’t an entire Halloween Quilt be great? Here are more Halloween paper pieced blocks that could be added…

This spooky quilt was put together by my customer Donna. She did an awesome job using my collection of Halloween blocks. All of these block patterns, as well as all of the gnome blocks can be found at ETSY.

Which Witch is Which?

I’ve just designed two new witch blocks just in time for Halloween…

WANDA THE WITCH

This is such an easy pattern…using a striped fabric for Wanda The Witch’s hair makes it look like it has lots of texture. Wanda has such a beautiful wonky nose! Very witchy indeed!

GOOFY WITCH

My Goofy Witch has 2 sparkling teeth and a giant wart on her nose. Wouldn’t it be fun to make potholders from these two lovely witches? Which witch is which????

Here are a few more adorable Halloween projects made from my paper pieced witch and cat patterns…

Gayle constructed this wonderful Halloween pillow using my TOOTHY WITCH. I love her fabric choices!

Here is SCAT CAT used in a pillow. See how easy those crazy teeth are using a striped fabric? And what a great border fabric!

Here is the same SKAT CAT pattern. Look how fabrics can change the look of a pattern! The fabrics you choose say something about your personality.

Keep sending me your Halloween photos. I love seeing what you are creating.

Halloween Patterns

My newest book, PAPER PIECING ALL YEAR ROUND, has patterns for every month of the year. This book is hot off the press and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.

Here are 2 October blocks from my book made into Mini Quilts…

Mini Quilts

These 2 blocks are some of my many Halloween patterns. Check out what my friends and customers have been creating with some of my other paper pieced Halloween patterns…

This adorable wall hanging was created by Bernadette.

GHOSTS and JACK O LANTERN

An awesome table runner by Sharon. Super cute!

Check out my many Autumn patterns on Etsy.

The Cat’s Meow

We had an early season snowfall in Wisconsin…check this out.

Last week…

Today! Is this what they mean by “snow on the pumpkin”?

The Cat’s Meow

This is my newest Halloween quilt design, THE CAT’S MEOW. My very creative customer Mary created this sweet wall hanging, using this pattern.

Every time Mary makes a quilt, she makes an extra block to add to a sampler quilt. She is saving this bat block to include in her future quilt. What a great idea!

I love all of these adorable black kitties. This one might be my fave…how about you?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Pick A Pumpkin Blog Hop Day One

Thanks for joining me today for the first day of the PICK A PUMPKIN BLOG HOP, sponsored by Carla Henton from Creatin in the Sticks. I have been working on one of my favorite subjects, paper pieced black cats and pumpkins. Don’t miss my GIVE-AWAY…you’ll find it at the end of this post.

CAT ON A PUMPKIN is an easy block with nice large pieces. Find a lovely orange fabric with some interesting texture for that luscious, fat pumpkin.

CURIOUS CAT has a quizzical expression.

CAT WITH A HAT is wearing a wonky witch hat.

MOONLIGHT CAT glows in the shimmering moonlight.

Use the cats alone as wall hangings or pillows, or put them all together to create a charming quilt. I call this the CAT’S MEOW QUILT.
