I haven’t had time to put these 3 blocks into a table topper or quilt, but I would love some ideas!
The week after Thanksgiving starts the 2019 Virtual Cookie Exchange and Blog Hop . Don’t miss it! Collect lots of yummy cookie recipes AND see so many clever Christmas decorating ideas.
Can’t wait…I will be posting on Wednesday, December 4.
We had an early season snowfall in Wisconsin…check this out.
Last week…
Today! Is this what they mean by “snow on the pumpkin”?
The Cat’s Meow
This is my newest Halloween quilt design, THE CAT’S MEOW. My very creative customer Mary created this sweet wall hanging, using this pattern.
Every time Mary makes a quilt, she makes an extra block to add to a sampler quilt. She is saving this bat block to include in her future quilt. What a great idea!

Visit ETSY to find my FREE HALLOWEEN BLOCKS. Be aware that any item I sell on Etsy I am charged 20 cents, even if they are FREE. Therefore, I have to charge my customers the 20 cents or it would cost me a fortune to list a free pattern 🙁
What’s more fun than witchy-poos? I’ve just finished a new paper pieced witch block to add to my collection. I love designing Halloween images, so I am having a lot of fun this month.
My sweet customer Julie suggested I design some paper pieced Camping/Glamping blocks. I’m not so clear on the “glamping”, but the “camping” suggestion was spot on, especially with summer just starting.
I love my customers. They constantly motivate me. Kelly asked me to create a SKUNK BLOCK.
Creating paper pieced animals is one of my strong points, so this was a joy to create.
SKUNK
This Skunk Block would look great in my Forest Friends pattern, along with the other sweet woodsy animals.
All this designing has made me tired…
Here is an Owl Tote and a Fox Tote created by another customer. Mary is using the animals from Forest Friends for her handy totes.

Now do you see why I love my customers so much? They are super creative!
This Hedgehog Block was paper pieced with the coolest background color.
Instead of adding buttons, this customer used satin stitching for the eyes and nose. Super cute, and a great idea for a baby quilt.
Keep sharing your awesome photos! AND, if you are in northern Wisconsin this Saturday or Sunday, visit me at the Northwoods Quilters Quilt Show in Marinette. I better take lots of northwoods patterns.
