I am a paper piece pattern designer from Wisconsin, and I LOVE to create holiday patterns. Last Christmas I designed this HOLIDAY BUDDIES table topper .
These CAROLING BUDDIES would make an adorable set of holiday potholders.
Let’s make some cute as can be Christmas cut out cookies to match my new potholders. My cookie recipe collection has been growing over the years. Some of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes were shared by friends and co-workers. The recipe I am sharing with you is for Christmas cut-out cookies and was shared by my secretary at school, Marge. I have always loved these cut outs, and they work especially well for thicker cut outs, which are my favorites! I haven’t had time to put these 3 blocks into a table topper or quilt, but I would love some ideas!

The Cat’s Meow
This is my newest Halloween quilt design, THE CAT’S MEOW. My very creative customer Mary created this sweet wall hanging, using this pattern.
Every time Mary makes a quilt, she makes an extra block to add to a sampler quilt. She is saving this bat block to include in her future quilt. What a great idea!

This is the finished CHOW CHOW PAPER PIECED PATTERN. I was a bit timid when approaching this design, as Chow Chows have lots of fur, and it is always a challenge to represent fur in paper piecing, but still maintaining a fairly simple pattern.
Another customer requested a boxer pattern. Here’s a photo of her pup. Isn’t he a cutie?
